Posted - 04 October 2010 : 11:38:22 Hi,
Paul that would be great. I have been discharged for 2 years now and I have tried everything - updating my credit reports, I am on the electoral roll and I have applied for the Vanquis and the Capital one credit rebuilder cards, and I have been turned down by both, I even applied for a small catalogue and got turned down for that as well.....I don't know what else to do. So, i do hope that your guide will be of some use to me and other people in my position.
Thank you 369 |

Posted - 04 October 2010 : 08:43:35 I have a Vanquis credit card which I've had for a year, although I think some people have got them sooner. It has a high interest rate but providing you pay it off in full every month that's not a problem.
Regarding building your credit history, there's not a lot you can do while you are still BR apart from running your bank account, mobile phone account etc correctly.
