I am resident in Portugal and have approx 21000 debt on UK credit cards all 5 year plus old. Can I make myself bankrupt without affecting my staus in Portugal Can I arranged and IVA from Portugal. Do you know what the statute of limitation in Portugal is on unsecured debts. |

1. Outside England and Wales and in another EU country
&
2. Have been outside England and Wales for over 3 years
unfortunately you are unable to petition for Bankruptcy in the UK
