Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.

Posted - 03 November 2010 : 08:45:54 Hi Dean
There is an alternative called a Debt Relief Order which costs you £90 and if you fit the criteria, you will be eligible.
Basically you have to have debts under £15,000, own a vehicle but no other assets and have less than £50 disposable income left at the end of the month once your bills have been paid. If I were you, as you have access to the internet, I would suggest looking up DRO's on the web. There are also plenty of people who can help you on this website.
All the best.

Posted - 03 November 2010 : 08:34:42 A Debt Relief Order (DRO) may be better for you as your debts are below £15000. There is more information at http://debtrelieforder.org.uk/ as well as the list of agencies that can assist with getting the DRO set up.
The fee for a DRO is also a lot less than BR at less than £100. |
