Posted - 06 January 2011 : 11:43:19 Hi Adrian If I were your trustee in bankruptcy, ie you are living rent free the first question I would ask is did you ever own this property? if the answer is yes there could be significant problems, if no then you may be OK.

Posted - 04 January 2011 : 15:19:14 If there is proof that the house was bought by your son and you haven't contributed to the mortgage then you would be seen as a tenant rather than the owner and the property would be exempt from your BR.
