Posted - 25 February 2011 : 08:22:22 Hi Guys,
That's one I didn't realise either. I thought that you got to keep £20 & the OR took the rest.
Show's how easy it is to misunderstand the guidelines!!!

Posted - 24 February 2011 : 23:17:29 i think with the new rules and the £20 allowance that they (the Or ) will be overrun with us / individuals continuly asking for reviews of our Income and expenditure.

Posted - 24 February 2011 : 22:43:49 I didn't until recently Jan. I can see it causing problems - when I had my IPA I didn't have it reassessed if my expenditure went up a bit, I used some of my surplus. If I hadn't had that I would have had to contact the OR regularly.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Posted - 24 February 2011 : 22:19:50 If I understand it correctly if there is more than £20 per month DI the OR will take all of it. If it's less than £20 then there is no IPA.

Posted - 24 February 2011 : 18:37:07 no they would take £50 (presuming of course that you have already included in your expenses the £10per person emergency fund) |
