Posted - 22 March 2011 : 14:10:06 What about this scenario?: A married couple with two kids, husband forced into bankruptcy due to legal proceedings. Substantial equity in property but not enough to settle debt. Is the equity split 50/50 or could the wife be entitled to a greater share as the main child carer?

if one of the married couple has already been declared BR, you are playing serious catch up
if the threat of a creditor petition is looming then get one of the experts to come and have a coffee with you soonest temptation of biscuits may get them to you sooner !!
