Posted - 25 April 2011 : 19:19:53 Hi - I have an outstanding loan of £10500 and an overdraft of £2000. I earn on average just £650 a month and I'm really struggling. I have a baby daughter and am extremely stressed, depressed and worried about my situation. Could I qualify for bankruptcy? What are the risks? I really need help. Thanks.

Do you own your own home or have any assets worth over £300? If not any your disposable income is less than £50 once you have paid your priority payments then a Debt Relief Order might be an idea for you - cheaper than bankruptcy and over in 12 months.
