I have a question. When is it best to start cleaning up your credit file after discharge. ie write to lenders in your bankrupcy, Immediatley? or is it best to give it a few months before writing to you lenders. |

Posted - 03 May 2011 : 16:08:08 Hi, there won't be any point in chasing creditors up until after discharge, as tecnically that is when all liabilities are discharged, which will in effect be the settlement date.

Posted - 03 May 2011 : 11:39:45 To be honest I'd leave it for a while as your BR will be on your file for six years and so you won't be able to get any credit anyway.
