Please can you help me and others to definitively answer a question on Bankruptcy and how long it stays on the credit file.
After many searches on the internet I found some forums where people mention that a bankruptcy stays on on your credit file for 10 years. In some cases they mention some rule along the lines of it staying on your files for 7 + 3 years. Is this correct? It thought it only takes 7 years. Please help us clarify the confusion.
Regards,
Jimmy "the Choo"

If you need help completing SOA's(statement of affairs) or PIQ's(preliminary information questionnaire) if you've been declared bankrupt, or anything else and you're within 30 miles or so of Warrington, then please contact me via my contact details in the expert page for futher details"
