i am filing for bk and want to know if it will affect a house i signed over to my ex wife as a divorce settlement |

no they dont have to accept it, the whole amount is due now, they may negotiate but that is their choice |

Bankruptcy should be your last resort so if you can offer what money you can affordto your creditors & they accept it then fine. |

do i even have to go bk i have offered to pay 400 a month to the the office some one has said that they have to accept that is this true or can they still push for bk |

Hi,
unless the property being signed over was an order of the court, a trustee could seek to get it overturned as a transaction at an undervalue, even though you were solvent at the time.

her solicitor did it for her i just signed about a year and a half ago i was solvent at the time and received no money for it the tax bill that the tax man is after me for was due 2010 for the period 08 09 |
