Posted - 06 January 2012 : 13:06:14 If you go bankrupt before the end of the current tax year, the tax that is due will be written off. You will then get a zero tax code until April and then when the new tax year starts again, you will get a new tax code.

I believe that tax debts prior to you declaring BR are included.
Hopefully one of the experts can advise further.
