Posted - 24 March 2012 : 09:27:47 Is debtor using excuses not to pay me ? He said that the local council are making him bankrupt. Can the local Council do this or is he using this as an excuse?

Posted - 24 March 2012 : 09:39:55 they can do, and they sometimes do, whether they are in this case i cannot say, if he does go bankrupt then he will have a bankruptcy number and he should give you the details of his Official Receiver, i suggest that you ask what stage it is up to, does he have a court date yet
