Is debtor using excuses not to pay me ? He said that the local council are making him bankrupt. Can the local Council do this or is he using this as an excuse?
they can do, and they sometimes do, whether they are in this case i cannot say, if he does go bankrupt then he will have a bankruptcy number and he should give you the details of his Official Receiver, i suggest that you ask what stage it is up to, does he have a court date yet
