I was declared bankrupt in 2009 and was discharged successfully but it will remain on my file for 6 years. Will my credit rating will be affected after 6 years once it has been removed ? Will anyone able to see that I was once bankrupt after 6 years or whether it will be completely removed ? |

Well I am now on the register. I am not bothered because as I requested they used my parents address because I lived there for the longer period in 6 months.

I don't think many people actually know about the London Gazette so I wouldn't worry too much.

It will be off the Insolvency register as Viki has said but will always be visible on the London Gazette.
If you are asked if you have ever been bankrupt, you will have to answer in the affirmative.
