Posted - 25 May 2012 : 00:08:42 As I said, you should seriously consider going to your local CAB, who will give confidential and impartial advice about your current circumstances.
They can even 'negotiate' on your behalf, and most lenders look favourably on people who have sought such professional advice.
That has also been my personal experience.

CAB will probably be your first port of call.

Sorry to hear you're having to go through this.
I suggest you speak to the mortgage company and try and arrange a payment break whilst you decide what to do.
