Posted - 28 June 2012 : 14:53:59 Hi Julie, Whilst your bankruptcy doesn't impact directly on your partner and their house, ultimately their income will be taken into account that they pay half of all your joint bills or there abouts.
This would come into effect if you're subject to an IPA or IPO.
Have you taken the first step to taking advice from your local CAB yet?

If you have no joint debts or financial associations then it will not affect your partner at all.
