This is just a quick question :

On one of the posts, someone suggested using Noddle for checking credit reports, as it was free. I've been on their website and I noticed when registering that they still required my card details. I just wanted to know if I'm likely to have any problems by providing this information.

I know I might sound a bit silly, and I might be being over-cautious, but does anyone else on here feel confident with using Noddle?

Sorry - and thanks.

ok Thanks Niobe

You need to check Experian, Equifax and Call Credit. To do a check on the first two will cost you £2 a time. Call Credit used Noddle and that is free.

Hi, so which is the best site to check my credit report? Ive heard of experian but not noddle. Are there any others aswel and that are free? Thanks Anna

Yes, I agree, it's great cause it's free, experian is so expensive if you use it more than once.

I will probably only check experian and the others in August 2014 when my IVA and all my default debts should drop off!

I actually find it quite good and it does agree with my Free Annual Credit report as regards defaults (which are still being added).

I may change my mind once the six years are up!!

The good thing is that it is free.

I signed up to Noddle, but personnaly I find it rubbish. None of my IVA debts show on there, and there were a lot, so I can't make sure creditors haven't messed about and defaulted me again, only my bank account and mobile phone and vanquis card show.

Noddle only covers Call Credit so you will still need to check the other two.

Many thanks Niobe. I've been using Experian and I just wanted to save myself a bit of money!

You shouldn't have any problems - they don't do anything with your card details and I've been with them for a while now with no problems.
