Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side. |

Posted - 31 August 2012 : 14:15:41 THE OR is now asking people at their interview about PPI claims
when you went BR you had aline drawn, your debts cant be brought forward and nor can the assets.
the temptation is to get "easy money" with the PPI, please dont as the OR will chase it is his money
Good Luck Richard,

Posted - 27 August 2012 : 06:48:32 They can only come after assets that were assets from before or during your bankruptcy pcoventry.
Once discharged, if you win the lottery, for example, they can't take that.
But PPI on debts from before the bankruptcy is an asset at the time of bankruptcy so can be claimed.

Posted - 27 August 2012 : 00:42:16 so why discharge someone?
How long can they do that for? Can they just nip up in 20 years time and demand it all from discharge till then?
that tell sme the debts are never actually written off which means the whole thing is advertised as a farce. If they can just pop up when your doing well and take things your never really debt free! |

Posted - 26 August 2012 : 07:14:45 No the PPI claim belongs to the OR and the bankruptcy, you could get into serious trouble if you take the money, you should contact your OR immediately |
