Hi and welcome from me as well.

I would suggest having a word with an expert. You could give Viki a call or speak to a debt company such as McCambridge Duffy who operate out of NI - they may be able to assist.

Hi paula welcome to the forum

if you are vacating the property before bankruptcy Yes, if you are staying in the property for a long time after court NO.. if you are staying in the property short time after court and then letting it go ... complicated

the choice of which court to self petition at is dictated by the centre of your main interest. It is the location that has been predominantly your place of work or residency for majority of the last 6 months

courts will reject a petition if they feel that their court is not your COMI

Good Luck Richard,
