Posted - 07 September 2008 : 20:41:46 Can any one who has recently gone BR or soon to be tell me what i should put on SOA re these DD's mentioned . I pay monthly by DD for all and have never missed a payment but from reading the info about debts i have to include them in BR . Is this the case or am i misinterpreting it as i thought you were allowed to still pay essential bills like these . Am getting even more daunted & confused as the hours pass !! |

Posted - 08 September 2008 : 12:10:20 Hi Zoe
I had no trouble with BT and my monthly payment plan, they have continued with my DD and have said they have no interest in me being bankrupt, the only time they would do something is if i did not pay the DD's or the account went into arrears. Strange. :-(

Posted - 08 September 2008 : 11:16:35 I paid monthly DD's and most of the time you are slightly in arrears, especially with Gas/Electric in the winter and then pay off when you dont use as much in the summer!. I didn't want the hastle of changing suppliers. The only thing we did change was BT into hubbys name as they can be funny with bankrupts and monthly payment plans |

Posted - 07 September 2008 : 21:24:04 Hi Digman -
I believe if you are in arrears with any of the utilities you can include in BR. If you continue to pay them and don't want the OR to contact them, and assuming you don't owe anything, then no need to include them. Just pay as normal.
Hope this helps (and I hope I am correct).
