Posted - 07 September 2008 : 22:18:46 We have got to the part on the forms where they ask about debit cards etc. We have accounts which have been left unused for a long time and have therefore cut up and thrown away these cards. What do we put on the SoA about these debit cards??
Thanks!!

Posted - 08 September 2008 : 21:30:41 Hi i listed all mine as the numbers were on my statements even though the cards had not been used in 18 months, i think i was one of those that over listed stuff. Just to be awkward.:-)

Posted - 08 September 2008 : 21:28:32 I have had a couple of Br clerks get grumpy that all credit cards are not separately listed - even if the cards were cut up 3 years ago.
The forms always seem to be slightly different depending upon court. Always better to overdo it rather than under do it.
It is a stressful day so you need as little as possible to go wrong.

Posted - 07 September 2008 : 22:28:24 Hi CG
the question asks if you have any cards as you've cut them up you don't have them any more they don't need to be listed.
I know where you're coming from, ie you could potentially replace them at present, but as the accounts are dormant and listed elsewhere don't worry.
