We have got to the part on the forms where they ask about debit cards etc. We have accounts which have been left unused for a long time and have therefore cut up and thrown away these cards. What do we put on the SoA about these debit cards??

Thanks!!

Hi i listed all mine as the numbers were on my statements even though the cards had not been used in 18 months, i think i was one of those that over listed stuff.
Just to be awkward.:-)

I have had a couple of Br clerks get grumpy that all credit cards are not separately listed - even if the cards were cut up 3 years ago.

The forms always seem to be slightly different depending upon court. Always better to overdo it rather than under do it.

It is a stressful day so you need as little as possible to go wrong.

Thanks John!! Gosh this is hard work...This is just Ian's-we haven't even started mine yet! Luckily we've been spending all the time gathering the info we need so most of it is to hand!!

Thanks again!

Hi CG

the question asks if you have any cards as you've cut them up you don't have them any more they don't need to be listed.

I know where you're coming from, ie you could potentially replace them at present, but as the accounts are dormant and listed elsewhere don't worry.
