Posted - 18 September 2008 : 22:32:30 Hey there my name is Sophie and i am considering declaring myself Bankrupt and have just applied for my forms..I jus wanted to ask a few questions, Is there any amounth you have to be in Debt before you get considered bankrupt?
I am a 20year old single parent on State Benefits..does this help me at all as far as bankruptcy goes?

If you owe £5,000 or more you may want to investigate Br.
if you owe £5,000 or less you may be better off looking at an Administration Order. perhaps you can let us know what your debt level is
