Posted - 21 September 2008 : 17:38:38 hi i had my o r interview on thurs and they allowed me to carry on paying my rent arrears.this was part of my expenditure. i put the rent down at the amount i pay and put a note at the side to show how much was rent and how much was arrears.xx

It is also worth looking at your AST (tennancy agreement) to see if there is a clause regarding BR. Most AST's are pretty standard, but some landlords slip in a BR clause to get you out quickly if you start falling behing with your rent.

I guess that is up to your landlord. Technically you cannot pay the arrears when bankrupt, but the landlord, depending on your agreement, could give you notice to quit.
