I guess that is up to your landlord. Technically you cannot pay the arrears when bankrupt, but the landlord, depending on your agreement, could give you notice to quit.
It is also worth looking at your AST (tennancy agreement) to see if there is a clause regarding BR. Most AST's are pretty standard, but some landlords slip in a BR clause to get you out quickly if you start falling behing with your rent.

hi i had my o r interview on thurs and they allowed me to carry on paying my rent arrears.this was part of my expenditure. i put the rent down at the amount i pay and put a note at the side to show how much was rent and how much was arrears.xx
