Posted - 11 October 2008 : 11:20:53 i am thinking of going for bankruptcy as i am not working i haven't worked for a year now due to family problems and do not own my own property, it is council. I have 2 children and am a single parent. one of my creditors has written to say that are about to lodge a claim form/summons with hull county court, What does this mean and does this mean i will not be successful when i go to the royal courts of justice to file for bankcrupcy. getting very worried as this is the 3rd letter i have had from 3 seperate creditors.

They could mean that they are pursuing a CCJ against you but you will be notified if that is the case. In any event your plan to declare BR at the RCoJ will not be affected.
