Regarding Harbourmaster's post from yesterday please go to the link below;

It seems to be a company in Manchester purporting to offer an annulment servie to bankupts. It looks dodgy. Perhaps it is aimed at creditor-petitioned BR's rather than debtor-petitioned BR's, the latter of which are those who normally post on this forum.

What I cannot believe is that a so called "mortgage counsellor" from the lender seems to have a part time job introducing to this company. Surely that cannot be ethical can it?

Hi Pix

you are absolutely corect - they can only provide a service if there are assets ( particularly a house) which can be sold / remortgaged to clear ALL of the debts in Br PLUS the costs of Br including any trustee fees.

If all of the debts are cleared then an annulment can take place.

so these are not applicable to debtors petitions ( clearly if folks had got the money they would have already have cleared the debts in a different way )

Usually HMRC, Amex, creditor type petitions.
