Posted - 12 November 2008 : 23:39:48 my OR called to request aface to face interview after 7 month of my BR.As I was overpaid and spent money on gambling, he told me they contacted the casinos and looked into my bank statments and now looking for further explanations.Iam sure will get restrictions, but would my BR be reversed on the ground of dishonesty( not declaring overpaid wages to my main creditor, previous employer, and then gambling). In other word could I end up where i was 7 month ago and my BR rejected. please help Abd |

Posted - 13 November 2008 : 07:23:39 Hi ABD
I would not think that they would reverse you BR now, they oviously dont look too kindly on your missing knowledge and it could be seen as just that you forgot to add those in, you were in a state and just forgot.
That said the worst would more than likely be a BRU/BRO now. I would explain that you just forget to write it in, you never meant to be dishonest, the forms as so complicated and you thought you had filled it all in as asked for. Thats not a lie its just informing them that you had forgotten and would never attempt to hide or give misleading information as you are aware that all accounts etc will be checked.
Hope that helps, i would not worry though, just explain as i have said and i think it will be fine:-)

Posted - 12 November 2008 : 23:44:45 Hi ABD!
Hope you are well.
Let me just make it clear from the start that I am by no means an Expert at all but from what I have gathered from reading other posts etc. it is very unlikely that they will 'reject' your BR once it has already been declared / imposed - to be honest I am not really aure this is possible?
Maybe the worst they could do is impose a BRU / BRO, which in the grand scheme of things does not sound all that bad.
I am sure someone more 'in the know' will come along soon though and give you a more definitive reply.
Try not to worry! |
