Well i am fuming !!!
Just got off the phone to Mortgage Express to make a half payment on the mortgage this month - oh my word what a jobsworth !!!!!!
He firstly asked me why was i making a part payment, even though it was already on the screen. Once i had made payment he went on to let me know that after 2 full months missed payments they will go to litigation.
I once again asked why they were not offering payment breaks (as the government announced) and also why would they go for the house back straight away as yet again, government are supposed to be clamping down on this.
I checked if they were still part of Bradford & Bingley/ Santander and he confirmed they were, however they have a strict policy on both of the subjects i raised.
Doesnt really give us alot of time, which is just an absolute nightmare!!!!
Onwards and Upwards is the way im going :-0)

the best way to deal with these clowns, and other clowns like them is to do it this way...
get the official correspondence address
write to them with your offer of payment stating what difficulties you are having.
send it recorded delivery and keep all the return (and sent) correspondence in a file in a safe place.
any threatening stuff then get help from CAB showing all the letters you've sent and received... if worse comes to the worst you can show the county court judge what you have been through. call centres? stuff em! |
