If one person in the household goes BR then does the other partner have to contribute should an IPO be issued?
Thanks
John

Posted - 05 February 2009 : 22:15:23 I put my half of the bills on the forms, and then put what my partner contributes. I have an IPA, but his salary wasn't taken into account.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
20 IPA payments made, 16 to go - on the home straight!

Posted - 05 February 2009 : 21:26:13 Hi John and welcome to the forum
I went br, hubby did not. I also am a stay at home mum.
I had to work out household expenses and then put that as what hubby contributes to household. As im not working they didnt impose an IPO/A as hubby will not be responsible for my debts.
If you are working then i should imagine you will half everything (obviously depending on your wage).
Hope this helps a little
