Posted - 13 February 2009 : 14:13:57 hi, will i be frowned upon for not attempting an IVA or anything before BR we dont have any disposable income and our personal debt is high (£75.000) I will feel embarrassed when asked if id made any attempt to repay and i haven't,i was using the credit to pay credit, thanks v much. |

This clearly demonstrates that you have looked into the matter carefully and are sure that this is the right solution.
If you have no disposable income you are definately not getting an IVA and the OR will clearly see this.

Posted - 15 February 2009 : 15:26:59 As Jan says not everyone is suitable for an IVA. I tried one and it didn't work, and none of the money I'd paid went towards my debts so no-one gained from me trying it.
Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Don't worry, we've all used credit to pay credit!
