Hi

Just wondered if anyone has rented a house while BR.I have a mortgage at the moment and wondered whether or not to surrender the keys because we are in neg equity

We just had to provide a guarantor, as landlords were happy with this but it was thru an agency.

We had all types of problems. We gave the keys back. Went BR then looked for rented accomodation. Most agencies wanted 4 x months upfront plus a months rent. Luckily we found 1 agency who only wanted 1 months deposit. Its a minefield but you have to be honest and advise them if you do go BR.

If you dont go BR then It wont be as hard.
