Posted - 27 March 2009 : 13:42:56 Hi, I'm about to go bankrupt, but have a query. my debt is with several visa's. = £30,000 but one of them £18,000 was signed by me and my wife. when I go bankrupt will she be asked to pay for this sum, even though our finances will not be able to pay for this even as a combined earnings? Will it be part of my bankruptcy? One last question please, my wife has a plot of land but is not going bankrupt can the they use this when i go bankrupt as an asset, the land is soley in her name. once again many thanks for any help. |
