Posted - 31 March 2009 : 08:12:39 Just want to say thanks to all who responded, gonna talk nicely to my local council, if not, my boyfriend has a nice squeeky clean credit so it might have to be just his name going down!!
thanks again!!

I'm afraid it is always difficult trying to arrange a rental after bankruptcy. You may do better by looking in the local paper for a private landlord with a property that meets your needs but is not letting through an agency.

Does it make any difference that I've been discharged?

Posted - 30 March 2009 : 13:22:06 Its tricky...most places want a guarantor or 6 mths upfront which obviously isnt easy to find. You may have more luck going through a private landlord...I was lucky and got a place through someone I know. She had previously rented tho to people in IVA/ BR |
