I'd like to know what to do about registering with HMRC as self-employed...
How will this look in light of the fact that I'm about to go BR? And how would it alter any potential investigation? I'm not out of the 3 month deadline just yet, and it's hardly a fortune - it's nothing more than a few CD sales (not even enough to declare to the DWP as it's not even £20 a week!) and the occassional gig...
Thanks

Posted - 07 April 2009 : 13:52:12 Thanks Melanie. As it is, the income will be negligable and, from the looks of it, sporadic at best. With that in mind, what should I put on the SOA form, as my main form of income will be from benefits? Do I say I'm self-employed, but with zero income?
