Posted - 23 April 2009 : 18:43:15 Hi
I think you should enter your husband as a dependant in section 10 as whilst he may not be totally dependant he is in part in that he could not live on his JSA alone.
Your husband's JSA payment should be entered in "other contributions to the household." That is unless he is using this money to fund anything other than household expenditure, which is his right, in which case it should not be listed.
You need not state it is JSA, just the amount.

Posted - 23 April 2009 : 00:37:36 Thanks Chester wasn't sure because really he is mostly dependant on my wages, he couldn't live on his own on £60 a week, rent alone is more than that. Also do I put my own name down in that section and do I tick the box to say I'm dependant on myself, cos I'm the only one bringing in a wage, sorry to be a pain, nearly there now though. |

Posted - 22 April 2009 : 15:51:04 If going BR on your own you mention all your income including benefits inc Child benefit and tax credits. But don't worry Not all benefits are counted towards your DI If only you BR then your Husbands JSA should not need to be mentioned, and as he has an income (JSA) he is not a dependant
