When filling in people in household do I put myself if so do I put I'm dependant on myself and if my husbands just getting jsa is he dependant on me.Also where it asks do I receive any state benefits do I put Fam allowance and Fam tax credit and finally (for now) where do I mention husbands JSA, sorry to be so thick,thanks

If going BR on your own you mention all your income including benefits inc Child benefit and tax credits.
But don't worry Not all benefits are counted towards your DI
If only you BR then your Husbands JSA should not need to be mentioned, and as he has an income (JSA) he is not a dependant

Thanks Chester wasn't sure because really he is mostly dependant on my wages, he couldn't live on his own on £60 a week, rent alone is more than that.Also do I put my own name down in that section and do I tick the box to say I'm dependant on myself, cos I'm the only one bringing in a wage,sorry to be a pain,nearly there now though.

Hi

I think you should enter your husband as a dependant in section 10 as whilst he may not be totally dependant he is in part in that he could not live on his JSA alone.

Your husband's JSA payment should be entered in "other contributions to the household."
That is unless he is using this money to fund anything other than household expenditure, which is his right, in which case it should not be listed.

You need not state it is JSA, just the amount.
