Posted - 19 May 2009 : 17:00:27 Hello, I am shortly going to file for BR. I understand that my bank account will be frozen. Do I try to open a new BR friendly before I go BR, or do I wait until I am BR? Also do I tell the O.R about the new bank account? Many thanks in advance. |

Open a co-op cashminder account prior to bankruptcy, get all your funds, direct debits etc transferred to this new account and notify the OR in the interview of this account and the fact that it is a basic account. It will prob not be frozen as it is a basic account only and the co-op are BR friendly. |
