Posted - 21 May 2009 : 15:15:52 Is it true that the credit reference agencies automatically take off your defaults after bankruptcy after being on your credit file for 6 years and doest the discharge date show on your credit report. I still have defaults on event after 6 years of bankruptcy? I have never received a discharge form from my Trustee - should I have done? I am obtaining copies of my credit report now it has been 6 years on 20.4.09

Posted - 21 May 2009 : 17:16:02 any defaults on your credit files should have been changed to satisfied or partially satisfied when you where discharged if they have not been and you are discharged then i would request that the credit files be updated
