Posted - 22 May 2009 : 17:45:01 Sorry to be so dense but am I right in thinking that if bankruptcy was 20 April 2003 and ended 20 April 2005 all my defaults should have come off my credit file. I know they stay for 6 years but it is from start of the bankruptcy or end? If its the end then 2005 would make them come automatically off in 2011?

Posted - 22 May 2009 : 17:51:43 defaults fall off six years from when they are recorded likewise the bankruptcy will fall off the file after the 6th year
