I never mentioned my mobile on my I & E - I don't have a landline in my name so I just put the cost down under telephone.

Posted - 21 June 2009 : 08:05:32 The laptop won't be classed as a luxury item. The contract mobile phone will depend upon the company you have the contract with. If you don't have any debts with the company then just carry on paying the monthly bill and there shouldn't be any problems. This will be the same with the Internet access. Provided you keep up the payments and aren't in any arrears everything should be fine. You can only claim for the cost of Internet access on your I&E if you need it for work or educational purposes otherwise the amount needs to come out of any disposable income.
