Posted - 13 July 2009 : 17:54:52 i was made redundant then my wife left me approximately 8 months ago,although seperated we still have a joint mortgage which is now in arrears,i am still out of work and on jobseekers allowance and with 35000 worth of debt see bankruptcy my only option, i have no idea what to do,with regards to anything in joint names,any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Posted - 13 July 2009 : 18:25:48 If you declare BR then any joint debts that you have with your ex will become hers and the companies will chase her for repayment.
