Posted - 30 July 2009 : 17:48:29 The OR will look at all of your circumtances, your outgoings and income, and will decide if your outgoings are too high or not and what you will be allowed to pay.
The glimmer gets brighter all the time

Posted - 30 July 2009 : 08:32:00 If you can afford an IPA then it needs to be paid, BUT as your income is low you shouldn't get one. |

Posted - 29 July 2009 : 20:32:05 thanks for your reply.i have been to this country since 2002.my expenditures are more than my income.but im still worried that my or will reduce some of it to be able for me to pay an ipa.but how about if i come back for a year, will i be discharge and not have an ipa?honestly,i dont want to have an ipa that is why im thinking that if i dont have any income then the or will not give me an ipa.

Posted - 29 July 2009 : 18:24:14 If you have been resident in the UK for the last 6 months then you can petition for BR in the UK. The following day you can leave the UK and go wherever you want provided you let the OR know your contact details.
Quite a few people who emigrate declare BR in the UK and then head off to another country for a fresh start and a new life.
A couple of weeks after you have declared BR you will have your interview with the OR and they will go through your I&E and discuss whether an IPA will be implemented or not. Even if you are liable for an IPA it won't happen for 2-3 months after you are BR and if your circumstances change in that time (i.e. you move back to your country and give up your job) then all you need to do is tell the OR and they will send you a new I&E form to submit.
The IPA changes whenever your income/outgoings change so there should never be a time when you are unable to pay the IPA. |
