Posted - 10 August 2009 : 19:03:17 My husband has been made bankrupt. We estimate we have about £18 000 equity on our house and I have been advised to buy out his share of the equity. I have an endowment in my name I can cash to do this and it will be worth it for peace of mind about our house. Does anyone know the best place to get a forced sale valuation I have been told this is the best type of valuaton to get as it is the lowest. Do you go to an estate agents or a building surveyors and will their fees be a lot?

You need a "Sell Quickly" price to be able to give to the OR to reduce your BI amount.
