Posted - 18 October 2009 : 16:02:00 My wife and I are going BR on 25 November, what I am not sure of is whether my wife will get an IPA. All my wifes "income" is derived from benefits, whilst mine is an employers pension plus benefits. Do they include my pension in my wifes income? or is is it done only on what she actually receives in benefits. Not too sure whether I have worded this correctly or not.

Once you are discharged, they cannot impose one on you anyway.

Certain Benefits are included on IPAs such as Statory Sick Pay, Incapacity Benefits, Employment Support Allowance etc so ensure that you outgoings reflect the current situation not what you feel the OR should see
