Posted - 02 November 2009 : 21:16:18 Hi Kelly, I have a cash card account with Barclays, it's their only account you can have while bankrupt. I have a normal debit card, so i can still buy things online. Though you cant have online banking while bankrupt for some reason, which is daft, as its not as if im asking for a loan or anything, just to keep a check on what i've got in my account! |

Posted - 01 November 2009 : 19:39:00 Hi Kelly,
One of the forum experts answered a similar post last week, and the advice was that if you owe NO debt to Barclays then do not mention it on the form, and you will be ok.
Gd luck and let us know how you go.

Posted - 23 October 2009 : 14:58:43 Barclays are usually BR friendly and the cash card account is one of the 2 accounts (the other being the Co-op Cashminder) that is regularly available to bankrupts.

Posted - 23 October 2009 : 14:12:51 Make sure you mention this account to the OR, and you should be able to continue using it. I assume this account/Bank are BR friendly?
Does it have an OD facility?
