However just wondered whether or not any baliffs would come in the meantime as were quite worried what will happen regarding baliffs and what they can/cant take etc. |

Posted - 23 October 2009 : 20:46:54 James,
It does seem all too much and yes, it is still stressful
Remember, you are now BR - that puts you into a position whereby you have added protection and all you have done is made a mess up with your budget !! so what? - so did I - so have 10`s of thousands of others - you are not a criminal - look after the most precious things in life - your baby - your wife/partner - you have got a future and so have they - take good care, Richard

Posted - 23 October 2009 : 20:37:11 thanks for the reply it has made me feel a bit better about the weekend it was hard enough going through the whole thing today as very emotionally and mentally draining. I dont no who would ever want to be a baliff its such a horrible job and the people behind the desks who do these jobs seem to be genuinely not nice people at all . Will definately call the police if get any hassle as we have a young baby and dont want any hassle when we've gone through the whole bankruptcy order to avoid it

Posted - 23 October 2009 : 20:27:49 fear not the bailiffs will not be able to distrain from what you have said - they may still try to intimidate you - be strong on that - they are the type of thing I scrape of my shoe )see the strap line on my profile...)
In almost all respects there has be an action taken to legitimately bring in an official bailiff - DO NOT wory!!
Post here if you get threats & if a so called bailiff attends and says he wants to take goods, call the police, they will repond fast and will work with you and Trading Standards and the OFT
Good luck Richard

You can forget about bailiffs, as mentioned by Kallis.
Well done.

Posted - 23 October 2009 : 20:14:32 Hi,
Glad it all went ok.
I doubt bailiffs will call, but you are now bankrupt and they can do nothing to you. You can show them your BR order and they will have to go away.
