Posted - 02 January 2010 : 11:45:28 It is possible that a vindictive HMRC will make me bankrupt. What will happen to our house? It is in my name (we bought the house jointly but as she is an American Citizen the broker thought it would be easier to obtain a mortgage in my name only) but my wife has a registered Home Rights Notice. It is on a mortgage (interest only) with no current method of redeeming at the moment. It is at best valued at current amount owed to the building society and at worst negative equity.

Their aim is:-
1. get paid now 2. agree a reasonable payment plan ( reasonable to them) 3. make you Br.
