Thanks debtinfo - I will be falling off the Register in Feb so am leaving it until then before I start to clean up my credit file. No doubt I will be bashing heads with Abbey and Tesco then.

just thinking about this, The creditors have a legal responsibility to send yearly statements to you whilst you owe the debt. Whilst you are undischarged they can send you a statement but they cannot ask for repayment. Once discharged they should no longer send you any ststements either as the debt has been discharged

Yeah, I am not surprised with either of them to be honest. Although to be fair to both companies, neither of them called me when I stopped paying my bills in preparation for BR. I can see that when I clean up my credit file I will need to report these two to the Information Commissioner as I doubt they will bother updating the file and I can see from your blog that Tesco haven't with you.

I'm not surprised that you're getting statements from Tesco Gettingoutofdebt - they told me they don't recognise BR!

This won't have any effect on a possible ED but will be a case of one department of the creditor's business not talking to another.

The OR would have contacted the creditors within the first 3 months of your BR. I received ED in November but am still receiving monthly credit card e-statements from Tesco and Abbey bank statements showing my account is OD!
