(I know what I would like to tell them!!!) but I am getting sick of the constant telephone calls and letters coming through my door on a daily basis.
Thank you all once agan for your help

Posted - 12 August 2010 : 14:25:53 the OR will send a letter out to your creditors within 6 weeks.
My Expert sent a letter to all of my creditors on the day of my bankruptcy giving them a photocopy of the court extract.
Two of my creditors ignored the letters and my answering the phone and telling them that i was BR. one still asked for payment
My last phone call was about 3 - 4 weeks after BR.
peace and quiet now , no phone calls and postman no longer gets hernia when delivering my mail

Posted - 11 August 2010 : 11:47:45 Hi Carl,
I didn't bother to send them a letter. As soon as I was declared BR I started answering my phone to them (something I had avoided for months), I then verbally told them my BR number and the Court and they were very polite and just thanked me and I have not had any calls since. I can't tell you how wonderful it felt to be able to tell them, I let them go through all their spiel and how much they wanted me to pay them immediately and then I dropped my bombshell.
After you've gone BR the OR will also contact all your creditors so don't think you need to bother with a letter to them.
