Posted - 24 March 2007 : 15:37:35 Hi all, I have for some time now been considering BR but I've also looked into IVA and don't feel that this is an option. I owe just over £21,000, main debt being to barclays bank. I have been paying my creditors just £1 a month.
I have 1 CCJ and am wondering whether this gets wiped off after BR, anyone have any info on this?

However once in Bankruptcy it becomes largely irrelevant as the debt cannot be pursued.

Make sure the creditor who is given you the CCJ is listed as a creditor on your bankruptcy petition. Also, after your bakruptcy has been approved, send that creditor a photocopy of your bankruptcy paperwork. If not they will still chase you until they hear from the official receiver.
